Service Description
An in person, program that teaches social skills to children and teens ages 5-17 who are High Functioning with Autism or has social skill deficits. Sessions are limited to 8 participants per group and are held locally once per week in Beaumont.
Topics covered in sessions include:
1. Learning to recognize social cues.
2. Building successful peer relationships.
3. Learning how to establish social boundaries with peers.
4. Recognizing own strengths and weaknesses for social success.
5. How to deal with awkward or scary social situations.
6. Learning conflict resolution skills.
